Senior Does
All does presently in the herd descend from one of four foundation does. Those foundation animals incorporated some of the top genetics on the East Coast in the Bayview, Cherry Glen, Nodaway, and Walnut Fork herds. All were structurally sound, productive animals. Breeding decisions are based much upon a doe's family, acknowledging the strengths and weaknesses both in phenotype and genotype, and moving forward from there with the goal of emphasizing and retaining the positives while improving on the negatives.
